Citi is rolling out mandatory “prompt training” for most of its employees to help them write better queries for AI systems. The program is called “Asking Smart Questions – Prompting like a Pro,” and employees have 60 days to complete it. It adapts based on existing knowledge—beginners take about 30 minutes, experts under 10. The bank says its staff have already entered more than 6.5 million prompts into internal AI tools, and this move is part of a broader push to make AI more efficient and effective in daily workflows.
